⚡️ Wild Hive Manifesto ⚡️

I often say that true community means more than people showing up in the same place at the same time...real community, healing in community, is founded on being seen, accepted, belonging - authentically, AND more than anything, it is an expectation that we are all protecting this sacred space we are cultivating, with respect and radical awareness. In order to dance with our vulnerability and at times fragility, I kindly ask that we all take ownership of how we show up for one another, because we are co-creating this unique magic. It involves every person who graces our dance floor.

When we dance, we are holding space for each other as we partake in witnessing our collective stories, expressed through nonlinear movement (and the therapeutic power of music). It is so profound; therefore, it is critical that we are each tenderly and consciously paying attention to how our energy affects the collective experience.

Whether you have been coming to Wild Hive for years, or it is your first time hitting the dance floor - we are in this together. And, I truly want it to feel that way for everyone who is brave enough to bare their soul. Also, with the understanding that every single practice is unique as well as are the wounds, emotions and shadows we are discovering and releasing.

Therefore, I kindly ask each one of you to help me enforce the following --

🪩 The beginning of our experience is where we set the tone for everything that is about to be revealed. I would love for people to commit to showing up on time.

🪩  One of the main intentions behind dancing in a circle is so that we cultivate an inclusive experience. Safe interaction, eye contact, laughter, noisy celebration, tears, hugs, all the feels and so on are highly encouraged. However, private conversations during our practice should be saved for another time.

🪩 If you choose to attend a Wild Hive experience, you are also choosing expansion, discomfort, vulnerability and growth. We embrace our humanness, and will likely mess up. Yet, we will learn and we will take responsibility for our actions. Wild Hive is meant to show us our truth, this is embodiment and somatic practice and therefore its affect is profound and will vary every single time. Truth is not always comfortable…yet it is what leads to our regeneration and wild integrity.

🪩 Wild Hive is intended to provide a sacred mirror, the experience (and every woman alongside us) can become our greatest teacher. It is not going to feel pleasant every moment - yet, it will spark a powerful release and sweet liberation. This requires depth, intimacy, contrast, rage as our ally, and the integration of both our light AND dark feminine (*see below). Here we do not avoid discomfort, we face it, we dance with it and we release it — and, always with divine play at the core.

🪩 Wild Hive is shadow work on the dance floor, through the emotions and memories stored in our bodies and in our bones. We dance with the dark, the hidden, the repressed, the seductive, the weird, the painful as well as our golden shadows: our gifts, our light, every attribute that makes us stand out and we have learned to dim in order to make others more comfortable. The result, if we dare to dance with these, is that we live life with more wholeness: reawakening our wild, our true nature. Our Wild Woman lives inside each one of us and our dance floor is her wilderness.

Saying yes to a Wild Hive, is accepting the depth of our unusual practice and everything noted above.

*Divine Femininity will be a part of our future work. Without going into too much detail here, a brief description —

Light Feminine Attributes -
nurturing, receptive, softness, intuitive, compassionate, warm…think the more acceptable, traditional characteristics.

Dark Feminine Attributes - fierce, seductive, authentic, powerful, passionate, transformational, magnetic, magic, sex, chaos…the shadow side of feminine traits that were suppressed.

BOTH ARE NECESSARY to becoming awakened, wild women. Healing from maiden / wounded feminine to mother / divine feminine, at last. Uniting our light and dark feminine on our medicinal, playful dance floor — is where true sisterhood can occur.

SO EXCITING!

*this is a working, living document — it will continue to evolve as we do ;-)
